* Paikkatietoikkuna service is based on decentralized spatial data services. Maps and other geographical information are provided to the user interface by means of service interface on the Internet. Every data producer is responsible for the service on their specific spatial data sets. The National Land Survey of Finland, in addition to their spatial data sets, is responsible for the user interface of Paikkatietoikkuna and its development as well as the contract management and the terms of use regarding the service.
Paikkatietoikkuna’s user interface has done in cooperation with Digia Oy, the usability testing with Sininen Meteoriitti Oy/Blue Meteorite Ltd, and the technical execution with Dimenteq Oy, Logica Suomi Oy and Priorite Oy. Digital Oy has given guidelines for the National Land Survey of Finland about agile development methods.
